John & Eileen's Family Caravan Rhyl Located on a prime pitch close to main amenities on a vibrant site close to Rhyl and Prestatyn. A sh The site is very clean and tidy.

When we first looked at getting a caravan we fully intended looking at 3 to 4 other sites in the area spending a weekend at each one and deciding where to have our home from home. Lyons Robin Hood was the first one and after a couple of days there decided we didn't need to look any further, this place ticked all the boxes. Firstly it is only 1 hour 20 mins drive (in good traffic) from home, home b

eing Skelmersdale in Lancashire about 15 miles north of Liverpool. When you enter the site in a car you have to key in a code to raise a barrier to enter, so shows good security. It's very close to the beach, a 5 minute walk crossing the main road via pelican crossing and using the public footpath through the golf course. The swimming pool is a good size with another good sized pool for the smaller children and a small jaccuzi. Although not had chance to try them yet there are lots of activities for the grandkids, with the exception of the arcade been in there lots and gone thru plenty of 2p's :) . There are 3 main entertainment area's, an adults only cabaret bar, a sports bar and a family entertainment bar all with plenty of seating. To put the cherry on the cake our caravan is very close to the main amenities, you can see it as you enter thru the barrier by the reception. Prices generally in the area are very good even the shop on site doesn't rip you off (much lol). So all in all we didn't bother to check elsewhere as all the boxes where ticked and most of all the grandkids luv it and hopefully you will to.
