Why not call in at Mainsgill Farmshop for brunch or lunch, take in the views over the Yorkshire countryside. They have a dog walking area too.

Friary Gardens War Memorial and Grey Friars Tower, Richmond

The prominent stone structure in the background is Greyfriars Tower, a Grade I listed 15th-century bell tower which stands as the final remaining piece of a medieval Franciscan friary founded in 1258

The stone cross at the end of the paved path serves as the town's primary monument dedicated to honoring local lives lost in the world wars.

The flowers are stunning outside the grounds as well as inside. The photo does not do them justice.

It’s been hot but definitely more of a comfortable heat today. Plants were frazzled so a few new ones added in. It just makes the secret garden a sanctuary to enjoy more.
