Such sad news re Ted’s passing yesterday. It only seems like just the other day that he stayed with us at the Riverside Lodge when he was trolleyed down by Paul and Bob and laid out on the veranda watching the ducks. He will certainly be much missed. 😢😢

A great evening’s fishing on Home Lake, at South Farm with my best ever carp there after nearly 20 years of trying! ‘Black Eye’, is a smidgen over 17 pounds and could not resist some M & S bread! Thanks to Justin for the guiding and help to land this magnificent fish.

When you stay with Short Stay Homes at the Riverside Lodge and book the extra fishing on our private stretch of the Hampshire Avon, by request you can have a one fish ticket for the nearby Rockbourne Trout Fishery with its 6 well stocked lakes.
