It’s such a fantastic time of year to visit the forest, with wild ponies and their newborn foals roaming freely across the heathland. A truly special sight you’ll never forget ✨

Rockford Sandpit is just 5 mins from Red Shoot Camping Park 🚐 — with a HUGE natural sandpit, nearby stream, ice cream van visits 🍦 and plenty of New Forest ponies 🐴

Plus, the Alice Lisle & Red Shoot Inn are both nearby for food and drinks 🍻

Just 5 minutes drive from Red Shoot, it’s a huge open slope of sand with a gentle stream nearby, roaming New Forest ponies, and plenty of space to explore! Perfect if you’re walking between Red Shoot and the Alice Lisle 🍻
