Back of Beyond Touring Camping & Glamping Park

With the second major storm hitting us today and a few more days ahead we ask all customers on the park to be especially careful under trees and whilst walking around our woodlands. We are a forested park and take every caution to ensure our trees are safe but in these unpredictable conditions tree stability can change quickly.
Please let reception know if you see anything that needs reporting. Stay safe.

We are delighted to be double silver award winners at the Dorset Tourism awards last night.
A great opportunity to celebrate our success with the hard working staff. It was great to be able to share the evening with some of our key team members.

Congratulations to all nominees and winners in the hospitality sector in the Dorset area. We salute you all.

So lovely to see this group of customers making the most of a rainy day at the park yesterday by enjoying time in Harry's Saloon (just outside Reception) - playing cards, doing some Salsa and simply enjoying time together. 🥰

A wonderful opportunity to see this iconic locomotive at nearby Swanage Railway. Why not pop it on your itinerary if you are planning to stay with us next week?

So Bobby the motorhome finally makes it home to Back Of Beyond after a 6 week tour and 5,500 miles. We were welcomed home by the team in Monty’s bar with a well needed celebration drink.
We went from Dorset to Tromso at the top of Norway and then back through Finland, Sweden with a stop off in Stockholm where we did the Vasa and ABBA museums then we said goodbye to the group and did a few days in the Netherlands and ended in Brugge on our way home.
From spotting Moose and reindeer at the side of the road, to fabulous scenery, waterfalls around every corner and even ice cold water swimming, we have made forever memories.
Motorhome Tours helped us every step of the way and we had a wonderful adventure with like minded travellers.
