A dish that celebrates the whole animal and all the flavour that comes with it.

Using more than just the prime cuts isn’t just about ticking a sustainability box it’s about respect for the ingredient, for the farmer and for creating deeper, more interesting flavours from parts that are often overlooked.

This philosophy runs through everything we cook, from the first service of the day to the last, but it's on a plate like this where you really see and taste what that means.

Really good food, great wine, and a beautiful place to switch off for the night.

This is room 8, it was refurbished last year, and one of our favourite parts of the project was uncovering these incredible beams that had been hidden away for years. It still amazes us what you can find in an old house like this.

We love discovering all the little secrets The Old Deanery has kept over the centuries and bringing its original character back to life, while keeping everything relaxed and cosy.

The blossom swaying in the breeze just outside Ripon Cathedral a few weeks ago.

There’s something about this spot and Kirkgate Park that just makes you slow down a little. It always feels calm here, even when everything else is chiming away. 🌸
