🍴 We love to hear where our guests have been and we’re always happy to recommend places to try for food and drink in our fabulous little city. 🍴

📝 We’ve got a core list of places but sometimes, things change and we’d like to recommend somewhere else. Where will it be? 📝

🍻 Always The Portly Pig Ripon for a drink first or after! 🐷

🐟 While we’re asking, we haven’t had much luck with fish and chip shops so please include those, with actual opening times. 🍟

If you have trouble with your tyres whilst staying in Ripon, there’s a great place just a short drive from Figgy Cottage and under 10 minute walk back where they can fix it for you in no time at all!

Thank you, Ripon Tyres2u for another honest job after I got yet another screw in a tyre this week.

⭐ Two new reviews on BDC this week! ⭐

We love that our guests loved the cottage and enjoyed their stays in Ripon. It’s so beautiful at this time of year (new leaf vac going out for a spin this weekend!!).

The shape of the cottage does mean the ceilings slope upstairs so it’s not the best place to house a giant but it’s full height in the main, so we hope the head bumps are kept to a minimum!

What a lovely message about our welcome pack! Homemade jam and always a rocky road or flapjack style treat! It’s the little things…
