🐾 Planning beach days with your dog this summer in Pembrokeshire? ☀️🌊

One thing many visitors don’t realise is that some Pembrokeshire beaches have seasonal dog restrictions during the busiest summer months.

These rules are usually in place between May 1st and September 30th on certain sections of popular beaches to help keep everyone safe and comfortable during peak season.

The good news? There are still plenty of beautiful dog-friendly beaches and coastal walks to enjoy all summer long! 🐶

A few helpful tips before heading out:
✔️ Check local signage before visiting a beach
✔️ Restrictions often only apply to certain areas or times
✔️ Early mornings and evenings can be perfect for quieter walks
✔️ Always keep dogs under control near wildlife and livestock
✔️ Don’t forget water for your four-legged friend on warmer days

Some beaches, including parts of Newgale, still offer fantastic nearby walking opportunities even during restricted periods, and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is always a winner for adventurous dogs and owners alike 🥾
