Dear Guests,

Due to the ongoing dry weather and lack of recent rainfall, all open fires are currently banned on the campsite until further notice. This includes fire pits, campfires, BBQS and any form of wood or charcoal burning.

Gas-powered stoves and BBQs are still permitted, provided they are used safely and attended at all times.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep everyone safe and prevent any risk of wildfire.

COVID 19 UPDATE:

Due to the prime minister latest announcement We will be closed until July 1st at the very earliest and will be postponing all current bookings until either then or 2021.

We also will not be accepting any new booking this season as our season ends at the end of august.

We thank you for your patience and understanding And will keep you updated when we know more.

And we hope to see everyone in 2021 when the storm has passed

CORVID 19:

During this uncertain worrying time we will be following all the government regulation and advice to combat this virus. This unfortunately means that we will be closed during the lockdown. Once the lockdown has been lifted we will review any new government guidance and act accordingly with the safety of our guests as our top priority.

We understand that this is a stressful and uncertain time for us all and while we sadly cannot offer refunds for booking we are happy to move any paid or partially paid bookings to an alternative date that is suitable for us all.

Please note: the booking can only be moved to a like for like date and and cannot be moved to a bank holiday weekend unless already booked on a bank holiday weekend.

We require an experienced Supporting chef to cook a BBQ for around 100 guests on August 29th 2020

Most of the food will be pre-prepared some will even be pre-cooked and just requires re-heating.

The successful applicant will be able to confidently cook a variety of meat, cheese and vegetables over a hot coal BBQ while abiding to all relevant legislation including food safety.

The start time would be 10am for a 1.30pm service and finishing at 4pm totalling 6 hours.

We also have a bbq chef position available and a breakfast chef position available for the following morning along with general staff positions and bar position.

If the applicant is successful for both the BBQ and Breakfast roles tented accommodation will be provided if required and the applicant would be welcome to bring their family to join in the festivities.

On August 29th 2020 we require 4 general staff to assist with general event operations and keeping the site clean and tidy. This will be split into 2, 8 hour shifts both an am and a pm.

the duties will include but not limited to

• Clean toilets
• Pick up rubbish/litter, empty bins, collect bottles
• Re stock event stations
• Help set up for the day
• Assist and encourage guests
• Help chefs, Bar staff and named people
• Serve the toast
• Help set up for the evening

Hello Chefs

I know it’s quite a while away but we are looking for a confident, reliable, experienced chef to cook a bbq for our wedding in ( Saturday) August 2020.

All ingredients will be supplied and prepared so all that would need to be done is the actual cooking on a coal bbq ready for a 1.30pm service.

We would also like a breakfast cooked the following morning.

Camping accommodation can be provided (at no cost) and you are welcome to bring your family and join in the celebrations. All soft drinks will be provided and you are welcome to bring some alcohol for after service and clean up.

Our wedding is very unique and is on our farm located just outside of Southampton and the new forest. All beef products have come from our barley bulls that have been raised and fattened on site then slaughtered and butchered with 30miles of our farm.
