Quick update, the van will be out delivering delicious ice cream desserts in the next few days. I have refined my delivery process and it should be much quicker and efficient. My priority is to deliver in a way which is safe for everyone. I have consulted with some fellow traders around the country including Mr Tee and they all experienced similar problems to those we experienced over the Easter Weekend. I will deliver to a smaller different area each day and take bookings for delivery only on that day. I will take a contactless payment at the van whilst maintaining the social distance rule. One of the biggest factors that caused problems last time was the pre payment process. I will limit the amount of orders I take each day.I will plan a route and give each customer an ETA for delivery. I have saved all the messages from Easter and all those customers who tried to book and were unsuccessful and disappointed will get priority for the first delivery slots in each area. I look forward to serving you in this way and hopefully bring a little happiness in these difficult times. I shall maintain my high standards of hygiene and follow Government guidance at all times. Stay safe folks
