Wierd New years for me..first time with no guests..first time in my life ALONE !! aaargh ! twas actually ok : me, Flash, the ghosts and Bertie the evil hissing cat - who spent the evening walking round the upstairs corridors on his hind feet. oh and a bottle of English champagne !

Howdy all..thanks to Rui, have managed to post a pic. of HWFR..notice that i cant have people here...to ''sleep'' was'nt impressed by me saying most chaps are sh****ng all night and sleep all day!! no sense of humour. So I can have friends to stay....I can have workers to stay family can have as many dudes as they want to stay. But..new regs say that now no barrier between library fire and sleeping rooms, no interlinked alarms, few doorclosers. thats it ! So only my friends can stay !

Hi all...just to let you know..in these 'covid' days rather than insist on a lateral flow test-or those nasty electro-temp. readers..our puppy, FLASH, has developed a unique covid test, whereby he sticks his nose up guests bottoms...i assume if covid/neg he'll let them in...tho i hav'nt exactly established this yet...just so you know..be prepared for bottom sniffing at HILL HOUSE which is fair enough really...
