A lot for guests staying at the coach house to see and do!

The summer holiday crowds have now left, and the weather is still fantastic. So here is how to make the most out of September! πŸ‘‡

🦌 Guided Wildlife Safari (Wednesday 9th). A slow walking safari from Lower Cannop Pond with Ed and Liz Drewitt, listening for woodland birds, scanning for birds of prey, and reading the tracks and signs left by wild boar and deer. Wildlife Safaris Forest of Dean

🎺 Jazz Club with Crash Collective (Friday 11th). Sixteen of the Midlands' finest jazz players fill the Corn Exchange at the King's Head in Ross-on-Wye. Finishes at 10.30pm. The King's Head Hotel Ross on Wye

β›ͺ Brother Thomas the Cellarer (Saturday 19th). Tintern Abbey was founded by Cistercian monks in 1131, and Brother Thomas is on hand to explain what daily life actually looked like inside those walls. An incredibly interesting event.

πŸ§€ Abergavenny Food Festival (Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th). Over 120 traders, a dozen live music acts and a night party in the castle. Nearly three decades in and still the best place in the region to meet the people who grow and make the food.

🚴 Pedal Wye Valley (Sunday 20th). A charity ride for Parkinson's UK from Chepstow Racecourse, with three routes to choose from. Riding or watching it is still a great event to be a part of!
