First a wander around Beadnell harbour and village, followed by fish and chips at Seahouses and a walk on the beach at Bamburgh.

Each of these coastal villages has free parking if parking for under an hour- ideal for a road trip with beautiful stop offs!

A perfect mix of countryside and city today!

Blue skies and bluebells for for a morning dog walk around Rothbury Carriage Drive 🐾 we are truly spoilt with such beautiful surroundings on our doorstep!

This afternoon we had a trip into Newcastle to the Quayside Market, then walked over the Millennium Bridge for a wander around the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art.

We finished the day with al fresco Lebanese food 😋

Newcastle is a short 45 minute drive from Copper Beech Cottages, ideal for those who enjoy a diverse mix of experiences whilst on holiday!

Wonderful views of the Coquet Valley from the trail up to Simonside Hills last night!

First lamb of the year....pedigree year is names beginning with P so I've named him Philly, after my glamorous assistant.

Took a while to get him out as he was stuck, got there in the end 😅 his mother loves him 🫶
