Cleaning of the bronze section of the Commando Memorial has now been completed and scaffolding removed. Repairs to the stone plinth and surrounding flagstone area will be underway within the next fortnight. All the wreaths around the base of the Memorial have been removed for safekeeping and will be returned once works are complete. Works have been funded by the RMA - The Royal Marines Charity, War Memorials Trust, The Commando Association, The Highland Council and generous public donation.

Just 3 days to go now until Hi-Bike Fort William launches!

40 bikes have now been installed across the 5 stations at Inverlochy, Caol, Corpach, Fort William High Street and the Travel Centre.

The bikes will be available to use from Monday. Free rides and half price memberships will also be available from Monday - watch this space for more info on how to access them.
