Well that's it... We are now closed until Wednesday 14th January, as we give your team a well earned rest!
What a year in this little pub...
We had so much fun with our pop up Tuesday evening events, especially the food and wine pairing, with some of the team also completing WSET wine qualifications this year. More of this for 2026!
It was a great summer for the beer garden with more turf being laid and many sunny days for a Pimms. The beer festivals got a little bigger, with some great music and Simon smashing it with the beers again!
I finally gave the reins of the Instagram to our social media queen Becky (right around the time it got really good!) So you can look forward to more fun snapshots of what we're up to. Its been especially nice to show off more of our kitchen team who are always so busy making it happen behind the scenes. ( www.instagram.com/thechequersfowlmere )
Then a record number of you joined us for Christmas parties and general festivities making for a very busy and joyous December! A month filled with so much mulled wine, many many terrible cracker jokes, always pigs in blankets and always, always more gravy reducing on the stove.
✨️ We apreciate every one of you who chose to walk through the door in 2025. Beers in hands, food on plates, your can't be bothered cooking nights and your special celebrations, thank you for spending them with us!
None of this is possible without our team. They are the reason you choose to come back. Cheers and a massive thank you to them, from the bottom of our hearts, and glasses 🍻🥂 We are ready for you 2026.
