Situated in historic Rudyard, in the county of Staffordshire, this delightful lodge boast views of sunny meadows leading down to Rudyard Lake, walks across stunning countryside and easy access to Alton Towers. Rudyard is close to the historic market town of Leek and within driving distance of larger towns such as Macclesfield and Buxton. The caravan park has a shop for basic necessities including

logs. The lodge is an ideal hub for cycling, walking, lake based activities and enjoying the beautiful countryside. In a peaceful location, you can truly get away from it all and enjoy a relaxing holiday with a log burning stove, a hot tub and barbecue in a sunny mature garden hosting bird and squirrel feeders. Internally Meadowview is warm and comfortable with one double and one twin bedroom. It boasts two shower rooms, one of which in en-suite. In the main living area a wood burning stove provides toasty nights in after dipping in the hot tub under the stars. Comfy leather sofas provide cosy times in front of the flat screen TV. Locally, there are a wide variety of activities to do whether visiting the caverns at the Blue John mine or the Heights of Abraham, or striding across the Roaches, sharp escarpments revealing the backbone of England and revealing delights such as Lud’s Church, a pagan worship site and the King’s stone, rising majestically from the ground. The Peaks provide numerous walks for walkers of all abilities and all reveal stunning views across the countryside. The town of Leek boasts a wide range of eating and socialising venues from delightful coffee shops to country pubs, craft beers and fine wines. A range of restaurants from Italian, Indian, Chinese, Thai and Belgian are available, all well reviewed. Each Saturday the market is held and local produce is sold from a variety of local producers. On the first Sunday of each month, the Sunday Supplement craft market is held, which is always of interest with the Town Crier in evidence. You may often see the local Morris Dancers here.

Woodlands availability for March is below, Woodlands is a slightly smaller lodge with a more open view than Meadowview, it doesn’t have a log burner there is a family bathroom and an en suite toilet in its main bedroom which has a kingsize bed.

It sleeps 4 and has a private drive and has a lovely hot tub on a very private deck.
