There’s a lot more to the project than bringing the pub back to life.

The proposals will transform The White Lion into a wider community hub, with hospitality and community spaces, accommodation, enterprise units for local businesses and outdoor areas all forming part of the plans.

Another £120.67 raised for The White Lion – simply by shopping online! 🙌

We've just received our latest payment from easyfundraising.org.uk, thanks to everyone who's been supporting The White Lion while doing their everyday online shopping.

That means easyfundraising supporters have now raised an amazing £560.65 for The White Lion – all at no extra cost to them.

Those small donations really do add up – and the more people who join us, the bigger the difference we can make.

🎨 A record-breaking Pailton Art Fest!

Nearly 500 people joined us across two sunny days for Pailton Art Fest 2026, making this year's event our biggest yet, and together we made an incredible £4,331.89 profit towards saving The White Lion.

Pailton Hall was filled with fantastic art and handmade creations from 22 talented artists and makers, alongside live music and performances, Paint & Sip sessions and plenty of great food and drink.

A huge thank you to every artist, musician, volunteer, local business and supporter who helped make the weekend possible, and of course, to everyone who came along and supported us. ❤️

Did you know The White Lion has stood in Pailton for over 300 years?

Originally a coaching inn, The White Lion has welcomed generations of travellers, villagers and visitors through its doors – offering a place to eat, drink, meet and gather.

This wonderful old photograph gives us a glimpse of the pub in years gone by. A lot has changed over the centuries, but The White Lion has remained an important part of Pailton's story.

Now, we're working to secure its future so it can continue to be part of village life for generations to come.

Supporting Local from Farm to Fork

Pailton Art Fest isn't just about celebrating talented local artists – it's about supporting local businesses too.

This weekend, 27kg of quality mince from W.F.Chapman Butchers in Lutterworth is being transformed into delicious homemade chilli and Bolognese, freshly prepared by our amazing volunteer team.

A huge thank you to Stuart and the team at Chapmans for supplying the meat and supporting Pailton Art Fest 2026.
