This place is so beautiful and situated right on the edge of Bedgebury Pinetum you couldn’t wish for a more peaceful and beautiful spot to be.

Last nights sunset across the pond was so pretty, and the recent sunny weather has been just great for getting on with all those outside jobs! It really feels like spring is just around the corner doesn’t it? There’s already some snow drops popping up here. Now begins the battle to stop our chickens from scuffing up and destroying all the crocuses when they start to show! I do love the chickens roaming freely around the house but it’s a constant battle to stop them destroying the garden! So far I think they might be winning - I bought some lovely pale pink primulas for the pots around the pots around the front door, but the chickens had eaten the lot by the end of the day!! Oh well, at least the eggs are tasty!!
