We've got to be careful around these beautiful buildings, not the first time nor will it be the last that a historic building has been damaged by careless and selfish drivers.

This morning, a vehicle accidentally reversed into Hall’s Croft, causing damage to the Grade I listed building — once home to Shakespeare’s daughter, Susanna.
Most importantly, no one was injured. Our team has acted swiftly to make the site safe and is now assessing repairs with conservation experts.
Every incident like this reminds us how vulnerable our shared heritage is. Rising conservation costs and a shortage of skilled craftspeople make it ever harder to protect these remarkable buildings.
