Opposite the cottage, you can see the engine house of Gooninnis Mines. The extent of mining in and around the village always amazes me.

Rip tides can catch out many visitors to the beach. Be aware of the risks, and best advice to use lifeguarded beaches. Stay safe and enjoy.

The calendar is now open on Airbnb for bookings for 2025!
We continue to try and keep tariffs good value but rising costs have forced a slight increase.
We know budgets are tight so we will be offering flexible lengths of stay and check-in/out dates outside of peak season.
