So much more than the sea-views but the sea-view is certainly special. Our popular sea-view pitches get booked up quickly in peak season, but never fear - you are never too far away from a sea-view on site. Park up a camping seat in the middle of the left hand field that is always left clear. You can pop down to our recreational area and have a sunset picnic looking down the dramatic Jericho Valley or utilise the benches to see right down into Trevellas Cove.

On a clear evening the sunsets can be really special and even when there are a few clouds around, some of the colours you get in the sky just after sunset can be absolutely spectacular.

We are super excited to welcome Linda & Lee back to the campsite this season. On site this Friday from 17:30. After the mini heatwave we have had, temperatures are going to be dropping to a more manageable 16-18 degrees this Friday so some delicious toppings over a jacket potato, seasoned wedges or a toasted flat bread will make an ideal dinner.

We hope that you have all managed to enjoy this lovely weather. We have had a stunning few days with more to come. Next up in our series of Things To Do. Dog Friendly focus today. We love meeting all your lovely pups, our off lead dog walk area has dramatic views down Jericho Valley. We have handy doggy parks outside the facilities and you can use the wetsuit shower if they need a little cool off. We have emergency dog waste bags aswell as treats if the pups are in need of a little welcome snack! We allow up to three well behaved dogs online (potentially more subject to discussion)
There is so much to do close by.
There are three dog friendly coves and beaches close by - Trevellas, Trevaunance and Perranporth (subject to rules around dogs on lead) and we have a list with more information on dog friendly beaches in reception.
Our favourite dog friendly pubs are both about 30 minutes walk - Driftwood Spars and The Miners Arms with delicious food, great drinks and wonderful atmosphere.
The Jericho Valley walk is a nice shady alternative to the coastal path if we get weather like this, with a lovely little stream for them to cool off.
We have helpful lists of dog friendly taxis aswell!
Book now online or call us on 01872 552238.

Number 3 in our series of wonderful things to do on our doorstep - Wildlife watching. One of our favourite things to do is a sunrise stroll down Jericho Valley or down to Trevellas to the sound of the dawn chorus. Spot some of the wonderful birds we are so lucky to see here including the iconic Choughs who even grace our field from time to time. This rare bird was extinct in the UK but is making a come back with an article on the BBC about them being spotted at Tintagel Castle for the first time in decades invoking memories of King Arthur due to the legend that his soul was said to live on in the form of a chough. The distinctive sound of a Stone Chat or startling beauty of a Goldfinch. We can help you out with some bird spotting books and hints and tips of what to look out for. The vibrant plant life is all around from the violets in our hedges, cowslips in the recreational area and rare orchids on the coastal path. Trevellas and Trevaunance are ideal for a spot of rockpooling looking out for anenomes and the amazing Sailor on the Wind. We are lucky enough to spot seals occasionally and can recommend some good nearby beaches to get some wonderful views of these lovely mammals.

We have had a number of new followers recently, so welcome!
We know that it is the stunning sunsets, beautiful beaches, striking coastal path and peaceful nature that really delivers the magic of our site. However, as seasoned campers ourselves, we know the importance of great facilities. Our spacious facilities are kept clean throughout every day. We have large family rooms, our showers have multiple hooks to keep everything dry, we have accessible and disabled facilities available too and we have lovely warm showers. We have covered dish washing sinks, a laundry and freezer for freezer blocks plus a wetsuit wash. For motorhomes and caravans we have grey water and chemical disposal. Our reception has a small shop, a library of books and games to borrow aswell as maps and posters for activities and sites and we can help out with things like spare tent pegs or a corkscrew if that lovely bottle of wine was hiding an old fashioned cork. Our helpful notice board tells you about the history of one of the oldest campsites in Cornwall aswell as local information including about our fabulous wildlife. We have large pitches and a big open field plus a dog area with a breathtaking view of Trevellas Cove. Check out our reviews to see how much guests love our facilities and book online - we are now full on sea-view pitches for some dates in the summer! Number two in our series of features.....Swimming!
Whether you are a dubious dipper on the hottest of summer days or a dedicated year round swimmer we are lucky enough to have some wonderful spots on our doorstep. Our favourite on a calm day is Trevaunance Cove with it's turquoise waters, about 10 minutes drive/30-40 minutes walk. If you are after a magical tidal pool Perranporth, Porthtowan and Portreath have some very special spots for a calm dip. If it is a bit wild on the North Coast we head down to the south coast, Falmouth is not too far with a number of sheltered beaches. We have several amazing books to help you plan in our lending library and you can grab yourself some well-earned sweet treats and tea bags from our shop for post swim. We have a wetsuit wash and line to get your kit ready for the next swim and lovely warm showers. (We like to ensure that our lovely guests stay safe so please ensure that you swim within your ability, swim at life guarded beaches, be aware of tides and rip currents aswell as the dangers of cold water! The RNLI have some great advice - https://rnli.org/safety/choose-your-activity/open-water-swimming -anchor-link---choose-your-spot)

Dreaming of the sea......imagine waking up to this view. Our sea-view Electric-Hook-Up pitches are the most popular pitches and do get fully booked in the summer. We still have some availability currently throughout May including the bank holidays. All of our pitches are not too far from these beautiful views. However, if you want the luxury of unzipping your tent or opening the back of your campervan or sitting with a BBQ and glass of wine in the evening as the sun sets looking out over the Bawden Rocks, book now whilst you can. This view is from our new for 2025 sea-view pitches. The older sea-view pitches are at the top of the field, still with the beautiful view behind. These are ideal for larger motorhomes/caravans or those with children to be able to admire your view whilst you can keep an eye on the little ones! If you would like any help booking give us a call on 01872 552238 or book online!
