I love to give to be able to give to charity in this way and this one is so very close to my heart as 20 years ago my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer aged 48 and then a short while later my best friends mum was also diagnosed.

The NHS may not give routine mammograms until your 50 but as can vouch it can hit us at ANY age so you need to be checking.

Did anyone spot the tiny house on this week?

Not only were we the first Airbnb they featured but, in my view, the most affordable.

We have not, and will not, put up our prices just because everything else is going up. I think it’s safe to say that most people are feeling the pinch.

I dislike the fact so much is so overpriced these days and so really want to represent value for money for our guests.

With the little extras and food we provide along with the hot tub I can sleep easy knowing we’re are not ripping people off.

A Teeny Tiny Home 🏡

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a lovely young couple celebrating a 23rd birthday who left our 39th 5* review and sent us this personal message too.

“Me and my partner had a fantastic weekend at the teeny tiny house,the decor was really lovely and homely, the area was beautiful and the hot tub really made it special and unique. The teeny tiny house felt like a teeny tiny home !!!

A weekend of all weathers to match a myriad of emotions

Friday was a quick run then a bike ride to the beach for a swim in this gloriously inviting blue stuff in the sunshine ☀️ happy happy happy

Saturday was a stay indoors and watch the rain day feeling glum and fed up

Sunday was dodge the showers ☔️ for a walk and coffee with a friend, cleaning for therapy and focus followed by the first family roast of the season that helped ease me out of a weird weekend.

Anyone else find themselves still adjusting to the change of season? I just love summer. I’m not ready for winter and I cannot stand the cold and the darkness. I’m sure I’ll acclimatise by Christmas. But until then I’m counting down the very few days left till the next holiday abroad.

I also thought I’d be nice after my happy Friday and offer a two night stay to someone and 2 days later I find we have been cloned 😡 We’ve had two successful competitions and all the winners and even those who nominated them have come to stay with us this summer.

I will carry on and announce the winner next week and hope that all the reporting and blocking means that no one gets scammed from it.

Wow 🤩

Our 26th Airbnb guests this year and they were sooo lovely and even left us a gorgeous card and chocolates

We’ve had the best first summer with our Tiny House and guests such as Jess and Caleb just make it so easy.

Yes it’s a business but it’s also a little part of us in a way and to have others appreciate the effort we have put into it means the absolute world 🌎

The Cornish Mediterranean

Feeling very lucky to live in such a beautiful place. It’s very busy out there in Cornwall and most locals won’t stray far from their home town this time of year. But who needs to when places like this are on your doorstep.

Special little touches 🥂

We have tried to make guests stay at the tiny house as memorable and comfortable as possible. We decided very early on that we would not be a holiday let that provides the minimum for guests and capitalises on every penny.

We want every single guest to feel that little bit special while my they are here.

Little extras like the either towelling or waffle dressing gowns, slippers along with an arrival gift of Prosecco and a homemade cream tea are just some of the extras we provide.

Not forgetting the fact the hot tub is exclusively for guests use for the whole stay and is ready for you to jump in and out as many times as you want.

From the reviews we have received so far it seems just going that little bit further has really made a difference to guests stay with us.

Now I’m off to IKEA to buy some more slippers for the guests......
