Our Story

A warm welcome awaits you at Allen’s Bed and Breakfast & Allen’s self catering apartments in St Austell, Cornwall run by Sue and Dave Allen. We are a small, family-run bed and breakfast with private off road parking. We have 2 rooms available with double beds and modern ensuite bathrooms. ALLEN’S Bed & Breakfast is within walking distance from St Austell train/coach station & town centre. The town is well serviced with numerous pubs, restaurants, cinemas and shopping facilities. Historic ‘Charlestown’ is also close by and is a Georgian port which has remained relatively unspoilt and undeveloped, reflecting how many West Country ports and fishing coves looked prior to development. Quaint granite cottages nestle into the countryside, rural farms remain untouched by modern developments and lush green fields almost merge with the sea.

ALLEN'S LOWER APARTMENT Sleeps 3. Ground floor, 1 bedroomed (double & single beds), conservatory.

ALLEN'S UPPER APARTMENT Sleeps 5. 1st floor ,2 bedrooms , Bed 1: Double & single beds, Bed 2: double bed.

Both flats have fully fitted kitchens, lounge with 50" smart tv, walk in showers, hair dryer, all linen & bedding provided.

Free hi speed Wi-Fi, off road parking, walking distance to Charlestown, local pubs, Chinese, Indian & large supermarket.

The Apartment's have a double locked inter connecting door. It is only unlocked if both apartments have been booked together, which would then cater for 8 people.

Allen's Apartment's are within walking distance 0.9 miles from Historical Charlestown Harbour which is used as a backdrop to many films such as 'Where Eagles Dare', 'Pirates of the Caribbean' & of course BBC's 'Poldark'. As a result, it is regularly frequented by film/tv stars. A few minutes walk from the apartments are a local pub, Chinese takeaway, Indian restaurant & takeaway, Asda supermarket. St Austell train / bus station & town centre is 0.9 miles.
