Come stay at www.adaurameadowscampsite.co.uk and experience these amazing waterfalls for yourselves šššļø
Cornwall's waterfalls are the quietest secret on the coast.
Psssst... there's a handful of spots inland where you can hear water instead of noisy summer crowds.. tucked into valleys most visitors never think to, or have time, to look for.
A few that we think as Cornish locals are the best:
St Nectan's Glen. Near Tintagel, a dramatic 60ft waterfall that drops through a "kieve" (a rock basin) believed to have spiritual significance for centuries. The walk through ancient woodland is skin tingling, very magical, and a dip in the waterfall can be very spiritual.
Spekes's Mill. (Pictured) Ok, yes... so this is actually Devon, but not far off north cornwall! It's definitely epic enough to warrant a detour! This location has stunning coastal views and access to a beach and steps down to the bottom of the falls. There is also convenient parking at Hartland.
Golitha Falls. On the mystical Bodmin Moor, this is a gentle series of cascades on mossy woodland. This is an easier to access spot and somewhere you can have a "forget the world" 20 minutes.
