🍁As the weather is starting to turn maybe it’s time to start looking forward to autumn and winter season.❄️
Though it’s the quiet season, North Cornwall’s rugged beauty is arguably at its best now. Popular summer hotspots are blissfully crowd-free.
🍂Coastal Walks: Bundle up for brisk walks along the South West Coast Path. Try:
* Bedruthan steps to Portcothan – wild, dramatic, and magical.
* Polzeath to Daymer Bay – mellow and scenic.
🌊Stormy Seas & Cosy Pubs: Watch the waves crash at Fistral or Watergate Bay, then retreat to a seafront restaurant for delicious meal and mulled cider.
☕️Padstow or Port Isaac: Still charming out of season, with festive lights twinkling in December and cozy cafes offering cream teas by the fire.
🎄Late December Magic (Before Christmas)
Even though Christmas week is booked, early-to-mid December is still as magical:
✨Villages are lit with twinkling fairy lights, or try booking at or for the Christmas light displays and activities
* Local Christmas markets may still be running (check out Padstow or Truro).
* New this year Skate by the sea ⛸️
