THE Wales Festival of Seaweed will return to St Davids from September 10β13 for four days of talks, food, workshops and coastal activities.
The festival will explore seaweedβs potential uses in food, health, conservation and sustainable marine industries, bringing together local producers, farmers, fishers and environmental organisations.
Events at St Davids City Hall will include demonstrations, crafts and hands-on experiences. Tickets for Thursday and Friday cost Β£5, while weekend sessions will be free or priced at Β£5.
A screening of the locally filmed Coastal Voices will take place at Solva Memorial Hall on Thursday evening, followed by acoustic music and seaweed snacks.
Visitors can also book a tour of CΓ’r-y-MΓ΄r, Walesβs first regenerative ocean farm and seaweed biorefinery, on Sunday.
Festival organiser Stacy Marklew said: βSeaweed is emerging as one of Walesβs most exciting natural resources, and St Davids is the perfect place to hold these discussions.β
