One of Pembrokeshire’s most iconic beaches looking absolutely superb this evening…

Newgale Beach is perfect for long walks, fresh sea air and watching the waves roll in. Stretching for over 2 miles, it’s a favourite spot for surfers, walkers and anyone wanting to enjoy the stunning North Pembrokeshire coastline.

Just a short drive from St Davids and always worth a visit ☀️

With the Tour of Pembrokeshire coming up, it’s a great reminder of just how spectacular cycling around North Pembrokeshire can be.

From rolling countryside lanes to dramatic coastal climbs, the roads around St Davids offer some of the most scenic riding in Wales.

Whether you’re taking on the event itself or simply enjoying a more relaxed ride along the coast, there’s no shortage of incredible views, quiet roads and well-earned café stops along the way.

After a day in the saddle, Waterings B&B is the perfect place to relax and recharge.

🐬 Boat trips & wildlife off the coast of St Davids…

A visit to St Davids is isn’t complete without getting out on the water.

Boat trips from St Justinian’s offer a fantastic way to explore the coastline around St Davids — from dramatic cliffs to offshore islands teeming with wildlife.

Over the next few months, conditions are often ideal for spotting dolphins, seals and seabirds, making it one of the best times of year to head out to sea and see the wildlife off the pembrokeshire coast. 🐬

This video was captured by one of the crew of St Davids Lifeboat when a pod of Bottlenose dolphins came over to ride the bow wave of the lifeboat on a recent training exercise.

It’s a brilliant experience for anyone staying locally — and just a short distance from Waterings B&B.

🌊 Coastal walk recommendation…

One of our favourite local walks is from St Justinian’s to Porth Clais Harbour — a beautiful stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Starting at St Justinian’s, the route takes you along Ramsey Sound towards St Brides Bay where there are dramatic clifftops with incredible sea views, before winding round Porth Llysgy Beach to the historic harbour at Porth Clais.

It's a great time of year for seabirds and spring flowers — and if you’re lucky, you might even spot seals or porpoises in the tidal flow along the way 🐬

It's Connected at both ends by the local Celtic coaster bus service and at Porth Clais Harbour you can get refreshments at Kiosk

It’s the perfect way to spend a few hours exploring the coastline — and the Celtic coaster service has a stop just 50 yards away from Waterings B&B.

After a busy Bank Holiday weekend, we’re pleased to say we still have some availability for the remainder of the Easter school holidays at Waterings B&B in St Davids.

🌼 Easter break by the coast…
