2025 has flown by and we’ve had such a great year welcoming new and old friends at New Dawn, with more special memories made for both humans and hounds! Every day is a real gift for me to spend it with such amazing dogs; all with such different personalities, I still have to pinch myself that my dream of working with dogs is now a reality and such a big part of my daily life.

I have some exciting plans and opportunities for New Dawn in the pipeline for next year, with the aim that it will help future proof my service. I’ll share these additions with you as and when they happen in 2026. My little holiday retreat; the shepherd’s hut, has done well this year and I’m very excited to launch a charity artwork fundraiser, where all proceeds raised will be donated to Cornwall Hospice Care and The British Heart Foundation. What a lovely review from my last guests in the shepherd hut.

Reading messages like this really does make my day. I put so much care and attention into my little retreat so knowing that visitors and their dogs are genuinely enjoying their stay means a lot.

I keep my prices the same all year round and include the cleaning fee in with the cost. All I ask is you treat the place with the same love and care that was put in to building it and leave it as clean and tidy.

Amazing video of the humpback whale 🐋 that’s been visiting our coastline for the past few months.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to wish all my clients a happy Christmas and healthy new year.

I hope all your dogs that have spent time with me this year have enjoyed themselves and those I haven't seen are all well.
