What a treat this week has been 😎🏖️🌊

Record temperatures and plenty of sunshine have given everyone the perfect chance to enjoy everything the site - and beautiful St Ives - has to offer.

As you can imagine, the swimming pool has been one of the most popular spots! 💦

It’s been such a pleasure to see the park full of families and friends making special memories together in the Cornish sunshine. From beach days and BBQs to relaxing evenings and children happily playing around the park, there’s been such a lovely atmosphere all week long.

Thank you to everyone who spent their half-term with us - what a fantastic week it’s been!

St Ives Maritime Festival returns on Saturday 30th May 2026 for a packed day of family fun, maritime tradition and entertainment around the harbour and bay.

From 11am–8pm, enjoy:

• Beach activities with Yonkers including “Fishes Wishes” & “Build a Boat”
• Storytime on the beach with Sam from Cornerstone Library

• The spectacular Festival Float & Parade of Sail
• Heritage boats within the harbour and bay

🎉 The St Ives Food and Drink Festival is back this weekend and we can't wait!

Three days of incredible food, drink, chef demos, masterclasses and live music right on Porthminster Beach - honestly one of our favourite weekends of the year in St Ives.

We love this festival for exactly what it is - a proper chance to eat and drink your way around the stunning Porthminster Beach, try things you’d never usually pick up, and just soak up the atmosphere with great people around you.

This year there’s a whole Fringe Festival running alongside it across venues in town - St Ives is going to be buzzing!!

Our safari tents officially have names… and we LOVE them!

A huge thank you to everyone who sent in suggestions - we’ve chosen six beautiful Cornish beaches as the names for our brand new glamping tents:

And in just TWO WEEKS we’ll be welcoming our very first safari tent guests to Polmanter! We honestly can’t wait to see them being enjoyed this summer ☀️
