Delighted to confirm that both our chalets ~ C8 "Carnarthen" & D48 "Sunvale" ~ are now totally compliant with the new fire regulations, in respect of letting properties, of October 2023.
This includes fire check doors, fire/smoke alarms, thumb or 'Euro' locks on all external doors, and emergency lighting where necessary. The annual PAT testing is also completed.

Carnarthen has also been enhanced with external access to the outside decking, by way of steps and a gate.

Find some treasure on your next stay?

Back in February '97 62 containers fell into the sea 20 miles off Lands End, Cornwall. 1 of those containers was filled with LEGO.

Shortly after some of those Lego pieces began washing up in Cornwall. They're still coming in today particularly at the beach in Perranporth, just 18 miles from our chalets.

A quirk of fate meant many of the Lego items were nautical-themed, so finds of miniature cutlasses, flippers, spear guns, seagrass and scuba gear begun.

Cargo included:
 Spear guns (red and yellow) - 13,000 items
 Black octopus - 4,200
 Yellow life preserver - 26,600
 Diver flippers (in pairs: black, blue, red) - 418,000
 Dragons (black and green) - 33,941
 Brown ship rigging net - 26,400
 Daisy flowers (in fours - white, red, yellow) - 353,264
 Scuba and breathing apparatus (grey) - 97,500

A Grand Total of 4,756,940 Lego pieces lost overboard in a single container - will you find some? Let us know?
