It’s been amazing to see all of the support today for Steve and his family.

We met Steve a few days after moving to St Leonards-on-sea and our house is full of his fantastic finds. Steve became a friend from leaving his shop for the first time. He was always who we went to first and seemed to have what we were looking for. He will be greatly missed.

Thank you for everything and we are thinking of you and your family at this time. 🤎

Sherfield House

Natasha and Andrew, along with their pets Jonsi the ragdoll and Indy the poodle, welcome you to Sherfield House. They have recently relocated from East London, and have always felt St. Leonard’s to be the secret of the South Coast. St. Leonard’s is known to be the sunniest place in the UK.

Sherfield House was built in 1896 and is of the Queen Anne Revival style and this summer two large garden rooms are open for guests. They want to be sympathetic to the period property with a unique twist, mixing old with new. Naming each of the rooms after people who once called it home. They have locally sourced furniture and soft furnishing as St. Leonard’s and Hastings is a great place for antique and vintage shopping.

The walled garden is idyllic during spring and summer months to enjoy tea and cake. When the weather changes to autumn and winter, you can enjoy curling up next to the wood burning fire in the sitting room.

They pride themselves on their locally sourced food. Breakfast can be served to your room or alternatively to our bay window seat in the sitting room or reception room. Our main menu is a full English breakfast, or alternatively a vegetarian option. Vegan and other dietary requirements can be provided upon request.
