Right. Here it is. The route for Sunday’s National Vintage Tractor Road Run, to help those of you wanting to come out and watch them go past.
There are plenty of good vantage points along the route but please do not block gateways and drives. And please don’t park anywhere that you might impede the flow of traffic.
Where would I suggest watching?
The coastal stretch early on between Porthcothan and Mawgan Porth will provide a fantastic backdrop!
The parade through St. Columb will be quite an atmosphere!
Then, in the afternoon anywhere between Castle an Dinas and the Goss Moor Iron Bridge.
Or later near Tredinnick will give you a good view of them.
Please DO NOT venture into the lanes around St. Wenn and Rosenannon! They are narrow and there will be nowhere to park up.
Two sections, one in the morning and one in the afternoon will cross private land and will be strictly out of bounds.
If anyone is thinking of putting a drone up, please don't do it where it could interfere with our own drones, which will be near Bedruthan and Rosenannon Downs. And don't even attempt to put it up near the Airport!! The area around Tregonetha downs and Goss Moor, though; different matter. You'll get some great shots there.
