Analogy - ‘It’s your beach for week’

When you come on holiday to Polzeath, you’re allocated a 5m square plot of sand, and it’s yours for the duration of your stay.

Will you treat it differently than if you were able to use a different part of the beach to sit on each day?

Would you keep it clear of litter and glass? Would you clear any ocean plastic and dispose of it?

Would you light a fire on it? Bearing in mind the sand may scorch your feet the next day, and the soot will blacken your towels and clothing.
You wouldn't bury a disposable BBQ!

Would you be annoyed if the people who used the same plot last week left it in a mess?

The reality is you have a rent free, stunning piece of land to enjoy.
Outstanding views and close to the sea.

Be a beach custodian.
Treat it like you would if it was yours 🌊🏖☀️
