🌿 Our wonderful volunteers, in their natural habitat.

🍃 Today, they were helping to remove himalayan balsam. It's an invasive plant that grows here, and each year, it's a task to tackle it.

🙋‍♀️ We would be lost without our volunteers. We really do appreciate them. They're not all pictured here, but a heartfelt thanks goes out to each and everyone one of them.

there's just a few tickets remaining for the foraging walk on Saturday, book now to avoid disappointment...

Due to popular demand, we have added another forgaing walk with Raf from Norwich Forage.

Raf will lead a 2 hour forage at Salhouse Broad, pointing out and picking all things edible (and some to avoid!).

6th June for 2 hours starting at 10am. Booking essential. Link in bio.

A date for your diaries (and note the request for volunteers!)

It's fewer than 50 DAYS until SalFest 2026! We *promise* sunshine like this weekend and, as you can see from our wonderful new poster designed by Rachael at Cora Studios (www.corastudios.com), we're coming back better than ever!

Loads more info to come including music performer details, but right now, take in how much family entertainment (including bushcraft, bubbles, story-telling, crafts and more) we have to offer you - FOR FREE.

We can't wait to see you.

BUT - before you go, two things. We need a few more volunteers to make the day a success, so if you can spare just one hour of your time for car parking or to be on the bar (or something else), please drop us a line here or at [email protected].

And finally, if you make lovely things and want to sell them at a stall, we have a few pitches left for you crafty folk. Again, just get in touch if you'd like to spend the day selling your wares while listening to wonderful music in the sunshine.

The gallery area of the studio is freshly painted, all spaces filled with ceramics, the roses are out, the weather is sorted, North Norfolk Open Studios signs are out, I have Salhouse Broad next door and a cafe down the road and several other participating artists nearby, so come and hallo this long weekend, the studio is open from 10 -5 at NR13 6RX
