July cottage nature reserve is a smallholding of four acres where three acres are being wilded whilst the owners also grow organic vegetables and practice agro-forestry on the remaining land. A stunning wildflower meadow offers a wide pallet of colours and fragrances during spring and summer. The meadow is accessed via a small arboretum.
Deer, hares, rabbits, many different bird species (40 counted so far), bats, dragonflies, butterflies, a myriad of insects, frogs, toads can all be observed. There is one pond in the garden and a larger one is planned in the meadow.
