Howard’s House Hotel is now permanently closed.
For the past fourteen years, we have worked and invested to ensure that Howard’s House offered the kind of warm hospitality and relaxed comfort that allowed many of our regular guests to look on our offering as “their home” when they were away from home.
Despite endeavours to renew our lease, we have not been able to achieve this. Accordingly, our operation at Teffont Evias is now permanently closed.
As you might imagine, we are deeply saddened that the many years we have invested into this very special place are ending in this way. For us it has been all about the people; the versatile and talented team who have consistently delivered through some very tough times, and the wonderfully loyal and supportive guests who have kept on coming back for more of that special Howard’s House magic. There was a real sense of family at our little country hideaway, and we shall always remember that with happiness and pride.
Thank you to all those who have supported Howard’s House over the years. We hope you will also have some fond memories of your own to enjoy.
We would also like to clarify that the business of Howard’s House Hotel & Restaurant has not been acquired by any other party.
Our future plans will be announced in due course.
