The beach is a long stretch of sand with extensive views of the cliffs , being a quieter beach it’s perfect for your four legged friends to explore. The village has 2 shops for all your essentials , a fish&chip shop and a local play park for the children . Perfect for a stay if intended to visit the North York moors & surrounding area- Whitby is 14 miles away a 25 minute drive by car and also accessible by bus. Saltburn , a 5 mile drive is a beautiful place to visit with lots of quaint local shops, cafes and restaurants. Skelton industrial estate now homes many large retailers- Asda, Aldi, B&M ,Greggs, McDonald’s and a pub, perfect for all the necessities for your stay- this is a 10 minute drive away and accessible by car or taxi, home delivery is available from Asda.
