Alec was passionate about farming in general, bred horses and sheep and was gradually moving towards cattle before his untimely and tragic passing. As a family we intend to preserve his memory into the future; while benefitting the less fortunate by continuing to support our chosen charity 'Farms for City Children '
The purpose of this page is to give our friends and supporters updates of what's h

We are delighted to say that Abi, (Alec's younger sister)has now opened her own self contained beauty parlour at the farmshop. A long awaited ambition fulfilled. Offering, nails, make up, eyelash and eyebrow treatments, spray tans.
Appointments are now filling up quickly .

And suddenly it's that time of year again! Last day of term, Year 6 visit which is becoming a right of passage. (On a personal note. Our family has had a child attending Smallwood School since 1991 when Heather started there, until today when Angus came over the finishing line. ! So it's a specially emotional day for us.
However our association with the School will remain as part of Alec's Legacy. We wish all the leavers the very best wishes on the next part of their journey. We also wish to thank everyone who continues to support the Farm Shop, and put their change in the Farms for City Children box. We'll be sending it off very shortly, now I shall have an afternoon to count it!!
We wish you all a fantastic summer break, hope this beautiful weather carries on for you all and once again thank you to all our friends from school, all our customers and campers. You are all amazing🥰

It's organic and absolutely lovely. I made a rhubarb crumble.😁
