💙 This Made Our Day! 💙

We received the sweetest surprise today from a young guest staying with us, Scarlett. 🥰

Scarlett took the time to write us a lovely little note telling us that this is her third year coming to Sandwich and that she has had the best holidays here - especially because she loves all the caravans! 🏕️❤️

She even added a beautiful drawing and a little message saying how much she loves her holidays here. 🥹

It’s moments like this that remind us why we do what we do. Knowing that our younger guests are making happy memories and looking forward to coming back each year means so much to us.

🔥 IMPORTANT BBQ SAFETY NOTICE 🔥

Due to the current hot and dry weather conditions, we are temporarily banning the use of disposable BBQs on the park.

🚫 DISPOSABLE BBQs – NOT PERMITTED

The dry conditions mean that the risk of grass and vegetation fires is extremely high. Disposable BBQs can remain extremely hot for a long time, even after they appear to have gone out.

✅ GAS BBQs & CADAC BBQs – OK TO USE

Gas BBQs, including Cadac BBQs, can still be used, but please take extra care:

• Keep your BBQ well away from grass, tents, awnings and other combustible materials
• Never leave your BBQ unattended
• Keep a bucket or suitable supply of water nearby
• Make sure your BBQ has completely cooled before moving or storing it
• Take extra care in windy conditions

This is a temporary measure and will be reviewed as weather and ground conditions improve.

We just wanted to make you aware that there are currently local road closures affecting routes into Sandwich, and the Toll Bridge is also currently closed.

Please allow extra time for your journey to us, particularly during peak travel times, as traffic can become very busy and delays are possible.

We recommend allowing plenty of time for your journey and checking your route before setting off.

🐾💙 In Loving Memory of Max 💙🐾

Many of you who stay with us will remember our dear four-legged friend, Max 🐶 - always by Roger’s side, often seen enjoying a ride on the back of a dumper or travelling around the Park.

It is with great sadness that we share that Max passed away yesterday. He was a much-loved part of the Park and brought smiles to so many of our guests and team over the years.

Max will be deeply missed by us all, and our thoughts are with Roger at this very sad time. 💔
