Beach House (nearest) from Hoswick Beach. Note the white quartz pebbles on the beach - the sand which lines the bottom of the bay shifts with wind and tides and sometimes covers the pebbles below the high tide mark.

☀️Sunshine, decking and a Sunday surprise ☀️
We’re not always open on Sundays - but tomorrow (Sunday 18th May) and for the following two Sundays we will be open from 11am to 4pm!

The sunshine has been glorious in Shetland these past few days, and Hoswick is looking and feeling fantastic. ☀️

So if you're local or exploring the South Mainland tomorrow, come and make a Sunday of it:
– We're open here at the Karlin Anderson Jewellery Design 💍
– Nielanell is open as usual 🧶
– The Hoswick Visitor Centre is also open serving coffee and cake! ☕️🍰

The photo is of Bryan oiling the decking in the sunshine this week - we've been getting the place ready for summer, planting up the planters and watering seeds in hope of our usual burst of wildflowers outside the studio. 🌼

And while we're here - a heads up that we’re now open every Saturday, all the way through to October, from 10am to 5pm. So you can now plan a Saturday visit to Hoswick whenever suits 🌸
