Welcome to Goosepen Cottage, a beautiful and spacious barn conversion situated at Hallflat Farm, in the quiet Western Lake District. Our cosy cottage is located in Santon Bridge, Wasdale, and has stunning views up the Wasdale valley. The cottage sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms and has a full self-catering kitchen,

living/dining room with log burner, bathroom and separate toilet. The 'upside down' accommodation has the living area upstairs, to take full advantage of the fantastic scenery. Two outdoor seating areas, one south facing and one west facing, make the most of the sun and provide alfresco dining with a view. The cottage is surrounded by fields, woods and impressive hills and mountains and yet is only 200m from a pub serving good beer and quality food.

Weโ€™re so lucky here in the western Lakes. Itโ€™s much quieter over here, and as well as the stunning mountain scenery, weโ€™ve got the glorious beaches of the Cumbrian coast. West is best for sunsets too ๐Ÿฅฐ
