CAMPING at WAUNWTHAN
Set alongside two acres of woodland, ponds and pasture Waunwthan provides the opportunity for you to feel just as remote and as tranquil as you wish. Waunwthan is nestled in an almost secret corner of the rolling Welsh countryside within the Teifi Valley providing a perfect rural retreat, whilst conveniently just half a mile from the A484. Mid way between Carmarthen and Cardigan we are ideally located not just for a relaxing break but for exploring West Wales with its ancient market towns, beautiful gardens, historic castles and blue flag beaches. There is an abundance of cultural and outdoor activities to choose from including very nearby, a mountain bike centre, a canoe centre, and the National Wool Museum. We are a mile from a pub which serves good food and from a bus route; and two miles from a good local shop and (non-charging!) cash machine. The local garage, also about two miles away, sells gas bottles as well as basic supplies and fuel at a very competitive price.
