Good Afternoon our Facebook Friends

Our 2023 season has started with lovely sunshine followed immediately by a storm that brought down our building sign!!

We now have Brynderi, a 2 bed, dog friendly holiday apartment handily just the other side of our car park. Call us if you would like more details

🎉 To put it simply, we are back!!! 🎉

The Harbourlight Guesthouse Saundersfoot is reopening on Wednesday the 19th of May

It has been a long time.

All available rooms are exclusive to our website www.harbourlightguesthouse.co.uk

We do not plan to use any other websites during the summer months so cannot be booked on booking.com/hotels.com/agoda/expedia etc.

Perhaps, because of the above policy of not using booking.com etc, we often have last minute availability. The place to look is our website. If you would like to call our number is 01834 813496.

We have very few stay duration restrictions, one night stays are accepted and we offer discounts for longer bookings.

We are in the centre of the village, opposite restaurants and shops. We are around 100 yards from the beach, avoiding the really big hills.

We have a car park alongside us which in the summer months is frankly gold dust.

The village itself has and indeed still is undergoing a revamp. New shop units, new business' open and a new harbour development including a schooner.

We are 'good to go' covid compliant and adhere to all regulations.

We are Visit Wales 3 star. A standard town centre bed and breakfast with only a few whistles and bells. If you want a bed for the night and a good breakfast in the morning, then we are for you.

We don't take pets.

We are family friendly and accept children of any age. Saundersfoot is excellent at a bucket and spade holiday and that is what we do. 3 Family rooms, 1 small family room. Folly Farm, Oakwood, Heatherton and many other excellent attractions are nearby.

We look forward to welcoming back all our guests after such difficult times.

Hello everyone

We will be open from the beginning of August!!

Regulations are still evolving rapidly so we can't guarantee what breakfast or servicing we will be able to provide. We have achieved our 'good to go' accreditation and Saundersfoot as a village is aiming to achieve the same.

Afternoon

Apologies for lack of update on Covid 19 and our closure but we really had nothing to add.

We are starting to get phone calls and booking requests for this year. Currently we are only accepting 'penciled' in bookings as we don't want to have to disappoint people by cancelling.

Having thought about it over the weekend we do not believe we comply with the new opening regulations as announced on the 19th of June, therefore we must remain closed until these regulations are relaxed further and the village as a whole opens more.

As soon as the Government states we are able to trade then we will but the restrictions have to be practical and crucially both Guests and Us must feel comfortable in being here. If we believe the restrictions will make the experience less than enjoyable then we simply can't open.

As soon as we are more confident we will open up the website to taking bookings .
