Scattered across three rolling meadows these carefully selected glades provide our guests with a whole half an acre per pitch. It is often the simplest things our guests remember most 🌿

The space around their pitch. The peace of the meadow. Slow mornings with nowhere to rush to, afternoons exploring the Suffolk coast and evenings beside the fire under a clear sky.

Our guests have also loved the little details that make camping easier, including the Honey Pot honesty shop, filled with useful essentials, local information and a few treats for your stay.

As the summer rush settles, Birds and Bees becomes quieter still. With only a handful of nights remaining before we close on 6 September, this is your final chance to experience it for yourself this season.

Come for the coast, castles and country pubs. Stay for the space, stillness and chance to properly switch off 🪵✨

"Beach, castles, pubs... and a small honesty shop on site." 🏰🌊🍺

With the summer rush winding down, the meadow is entering its quietest, most peaceful stretch. Pitch your tent, grab a treat from our honesty shop, spend the day exploring Framlingham or the coast, and finish with a warm local pub walk before lighting a campfire under the stars. 🌾✨

Our season officially ends on September 6th.

With warm late-summer days and clear nights in the forecast, it’s the absolute best week for a quiet, low-stress retreat into the Suffolk countryside. James and Emma have the campfires ready for you! 🪵⛺

🌿🔥 A little update from Birds & Bees

Following the recent wildfire warnings, our camping meadows remain completely flame-free — so no campfires, fire pits or BBQs on your pitch.

But we’ve been busy finding a way to make things a little easier! 💚

🍳 Our new designated cooking area is now available, where you can safely use your own portable gas cooking equipment.

☕ Our onsite kitchen is also available with a microwave, kettle and toaster for guests to use.

So although the campfire evenings are temporarily on hold, you can still enjoy cooking, relaxing and making the most of your stay with us. 🌿🐝

We really appreciate everyone's understanding while we do our bit to keep our guests, our campsite and our beautiful Suffolk countryside safe.

All the other Birds & Bees magic remains exactly the same — beautiful meadows, wildlife, starry skies, peaceful surroundings and plenty of time to switch off. ✨

We look forward to welcoming you soon! 💚

A little reassurance from Birds and Bees 🌿

We have been terribly saddened by the devastating fire at Dunwich Heath and the impact it has had on the landscape, wildlife, local residents and businesses.

We also wanted to reassure anyone thinking about an escape to the Suffolk countryside that Birds and Bees has been completely unaffected. We are open as usual, all is peaceful here and our guests are enjoying their holidays.

This video was taken at the campsite this morning and shows our little corner of Suffolk just as it is today: calm and ready to welcome you.

Our thoughts remain with everyone affected at Dunwich and with the firefighters, emergency services and local community working so hard. 💚
