Job Title: Food and Beverage Assistant.
Location: Scarborough: North Yorkshire
Salary: Above NMW
Closing Date: 17 March 2020.
Opportunities have arisen for the right people to join our team at Yorkshire Hospitality. Due to our continuing success, we are now looking for 1 full time 1 part-time suited to the following role.
The Role:
You will be working morning, evening and weekends on own initiative to ensure guests experience great customer service and care and maintain the following;

1. Answering the telephone and dealing with queries as necessary.
2. Taking bookings, both on the phone and through in-house booking system.
3. Taking payments cash, via credit card terminal, and in-house booking system.
4. Checking in guests and giving a full explanation of facilities and services available during their stay.
5. Dealing with any issues or requests raised by guest.
6. Ensuring the reception, bar and dining areas are kept clean and tidy.
7. Serving breakfast and evening meals to our guests.
8. Serving behind the bar.
9. Cashing up at the end of each shift.

Profile:
The right candidate for this role must have the following attributes,
• Aged 18+ for legal reasons.
• NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service, desirable but not essential.
• Proven experience with IT systems essential.
• You will have previous experience in a similar role.
• Have a passion for delivering great service to our guests every day, and strive to continuously evolve and enhance the front of house and food and beverage operations.
• You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to deal with and resolve any guest issues.

Hours of work
The hours are between 18 – 26 hours per week part-time and 30 – 40 Full time on a rota basis. Shifts will vary between the hours of 7am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm, including weekend and bank holidays.

The Night Porter role consists of overseeing the running of the hotel overnight, ensuring the safety of our guests throughout the night.
