The house is a stunning Grade II listed traditionally built old farmstead occupying an elevated position overlooking the beautiful unspoilt village of Ruston. We are ideally located just 50 yards from the boundary of the North York Moors National Park and on our doorstep we have a wide variety of wildlife including deer and rare species of birds. The house is surrounded by stunning countryside and

breathtaking scenery offering activities such as fishing, sailing, bird watching, shooting, horse riding, mountain biking, walking and much more. The Old Hay Barn is a stunning open plan 17th century converted barn available for B&B or self catering (the latter for 3 nights+.) The mezzanine sleeping area hosts an antique French double bed, quality bed linen and is decorated in neutral colours. The ground floor offers open plan spacious living with beautiful pieces of antique furniture along with design led modern pieces. A brand new fully fitted kitchen, downstairs shower room with twin sinks plus dining and lounge area are all finished to a high standard. It also has its own patio at the front of the barn which is an ideal spot to watch the beautiful sunsets and enjoy a glass of wine. Our luxury bed and breakfast suite is self contained from the main house giving you your own private entrance and dining room. The stunning bedroom with en-suite shower is situated at the top of the quaint staircase that leads from the breakfast room giving you beautiful views across the pan tiled rooftops of Ruston. The accommodation is tastefully decorated in sophisticated neutral colours, dressed with antique furniture and quality fittings.

"The barn is lovely. It has only recently been renovated and has been completed with top quality furnishings. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this barn is as good. Lisa and Martin are very welcoming and have obviously made a big effort to offer a high quality stay. The mezzanine bedroom is a delight and the sofas and bed both very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it."

"This place is a real hidden gem! The apartment is part of a barn conversion which is brand new and has been done to a very high standard. The place was beautiful, spacious, very clean and breakfast was very good. The location is very peaceful and in a beautiful little village. Its a good base to explore the moors and the coastline. There is a pub with good food in walking distance. Martin and Lisa have been great hosts and I would definitely stay there there again!"
