Husband appreciation post!
Whilst I may take nearly all of the (very well deserved) credit for the beauty and amazing reviews at the Shepherd’s hut, it wouldn’t be nearly as smooth sailing if hubby James wasn’t in the background fixing things.
Whilst I consider myself to be a strong, Independent female who doesn’t need a man, the job of changing the bath taps was a whole lot quicker and easier with him and his menagerie of tools that he likes to collect.
So next time he wants to buy yet another shiny spanner or different socket set I won’t roll my eyes, I’ll just let him keep getting things that make him happy.
Then he has to help fix things.
Then I’m happy.
Then we are all happy. 😃 💗

Oh and he landscaped the whole area and made the whole thing possible - cheers hubby!

What I HATE about staying in most holiday lets and hotels that you won’t find here!
1. I can only leave the farm and kids for one night so please don’t penalise me with extortionate 1 night costs or minimum 2 night bookings!
2. It’s such a chew and waste of precious down time having to spend hours travelling to our destination - keep it close by so there’s more time for relaxing!
3. Urgh. People! The older I get the less tolerance I have for sharing my space with other people 🤭
4. Massive price hikes for popular times. Call me old fashioned but I just think it’s greedy and means some people won’t be able to afford to come so my prices are the same all year round. From £120pn weekdays and £140pn weekends. Can’t say fairer than that!
