Who doesn't love breakfast on the beach?

We love a breakfast bun with coffee and a sausage each for willow and poppy who also love breakfast on the beach.

The Quarter Deck cafe and bar at Boggle Hole is where we have been enjoying breakfast over summer as it is dog frinedly all year round.

Boggle Hole to Robinhoodsbay

A favourite Coastal walk where you can walk one way along the beach and back along The Cleveland Way

If you love the beach and coastal footpaths this is a beautiful walk. Both Robinhoodsbay and Boggle Hole are friendly so it makes it a really enjoyable wlk to take dogs. The beach has both sandy areas and rock pools so if you enjoy rock pooling this is an ideal place.
The quaint village of Robinhoodsbay has areas of cobbled streets and many independant shops. There are also places to eat that welcome dogs and a selection of take aways including fish & chip shops and public houses.
We walk from Robinhoods Bay to Boggle Hole along the beach have some lunch in the Quater Deck Cafe at Boggle Hole. We then climb the steps onto the Cleveland Way and walk back to RobinhoodsBay, the views from the cliff top are stunning and both humans and dogs love to get out and enjoy the glorious Yorkshire Coast.

THE MISTAL
At Hayburnbeck Farm YO13 0AX

This charming cottage that sleeps 4 guests and is also dog friendly, the cottage is tastefully decorated and has a warm cosy feel.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms a double and a twin and is located on the edge of a meadow where you can sit and watch deer grazing and if you are very lucky you will see the barn owls
Kitchen - fully equiped including cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, tassimo coffe maker, dishwasher and washer dryer
Lounge - has 2, 2 seater sofas dining table and chairs coffee table and gas log burner, radio and a smart tv
Bathroom - has loo, basin and bath with shower over it
Outside there is an area sown with drifts of flowers and plants that feed birds, butterflies and other insects, then there is an area with a table and a bench and small table. There is also a fire pit wher you can sit toasting marshmallows and relaxing. The view looks out across the meadow to trees with The Cinder tTrack beyond. There is a short private footpath down to the The Cinder Track.

FIREWORK FREE

As it is coming to that time of year we would to remind everyone that our cottages are firework free.

Not only animals and children can be scared of fireworks but also people with PTSD, we would like to make our cottages a safe place for everyone.

Over Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas and Newyear being particular favourite times for fireworks we are taking this oppurtunity to remind people that we are firework free

The Farm House sleeps 7 guests
Kitchen has an electric range cooker, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and has all utensils, pots and pans and crockery you need for a stay
There is a lounge with two 4 seater sofas and a log burner
The dining room has a large table that 7 people can sit comfortably and enjoy a meal
There is then a small sunroom with seating to sit and relax looking over across meadows
1 bedroom, Superking zip and link bed with en suite shower room
2 bedroom, Double bed
3 bedroom, 3 single bedrooms 2 of these can be made into a superking bed
Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a large family bathroom with free standing bath and seperate shower cubicle
The garden is private with a hot tub and fire pit and outside seating

The Farm house also welcomes dogs, dogs go free

There is a short private footpath directly onto The Cinder Track

BOGGLEHOLE

Enjoy the Quarterdeck Cafe at Boggle Hole
A lovely place for a meal a cuppa or a takeaway, we love a take out breakfast and sit with the peace of the beach and enjoy our breakfast. I always get poppy a sausage for her breakfast and she loves that.
The cafe is also dog friendly so your dogs are welcome inside.

ROBINHOODSBAY TO BOGGLE HOLE

This a circular walk. You can walk along the beach in one direction and back along the cliff top along The Cleveland Way in the opposite direction.
It is essential to check the tide times before walking along the beach as it is very easy to be cut off by the tide on this stretch of coast.
This stretch of beach is ideal for fossil hunting, rock pooling and beach combing and if you are very lucky you may also see an occasional seal.
The beach is dog friendly all year round so makes a wonderful walk for all the family.
It is approximatley 1 mile along the beach and approximatley 1 1\2 miles back along the cliff top. Walking up and down into Robinhoodsbay from the carpark is the hardest part of the walk.

PLANTATION COTTAGE

Plantation Cottage sleeps 10 guests in 4 bedrooms.
It has a farm house style kitchen, it has a large kitchen table where everyone can sit and enjoy a meal, a cuppa or just sit and enjoy everyones company. It also has a lovely stable door where you can enjoy the view across open countryside to Scarborough Castle and Olivers Mount.
The lounge has a log burner, smart tv and seating for 10 guests, there is also a snug with seating and smart tv.
There is also a downstairs bedroom with ensuite shower room
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms 2 with ensuites, the master bedroom has a copper bath and the second bedroom has an ensuite shower. The 3rd bedroom has a bespoke made bunk bed and fullside single bed.
The garden is large with patio, seating, a hot tub and fire pit.
Plantion Cottage welcomes dogs and there is no charge for dogs.
