We are close to the Yorkshire Coast, on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. We are child and dog friendly, with three holiday cottages, 16 Big Chief Wigwams, four Running Water Deluxe Wigwams with hot tubs, four Nomadic Yurts, Bell Tents and a peaceful campsite.

Shearing day is here! ✂️🐑

An important part of sheep welfare, shearing helps keep our flock healthy, comfortable and ready for the warmer weather. The team is all smiles as the sun finally makes an appearance after a long stretch of gloomy days. Just a beautiful day on the farm!

Farmer Percy and his trusty sheepdog Alfie have been busy rounding up the flock ready for shearing day!

Shearing starts at 10am and continues until around 4pm. If you’re staying with us and would like to watch, head down to the very bottom of the site near the bell tents where you may get the chance to see the shearers in action.

It’s a fascinating part of farm life and well worth a look!
