Join us at The Grainary this festive season for the return of our much-loved Festive Afternoon Tea, packed with seasonal sandwiches, homemade treats and all the Christmas favourites. 🍰☕️

🔨🐑 DO YOU FANCY A JOB WHERE NO TWO DAYS ARE THE SAME? 🌿

We’re looking for a Maintenance & Farm All-Rounder to join our team across:

🏡 Wrea Head Country Cottages
🍺 The Falcon Inn
🐑 The Grainary

We need someone practical, reliable and happy to get stuck in and turn their hand to pretty much anything!

One day you might be fixing a gate or painting a cottage and the next you could be helping with the sheep, tidying the grounds or sorting out a maintenance job. 🔨🐑🌳

It’s a varied, hands-on role in a lovely countryside environment, working across our holiday cottages, accommodation, restaurants and working farm.
We’re looking for someone who:
✔️ Is practical and hardworking
✔️ Enjoys being outdoors
✔️ Can turn their hand to a bit of everything
✔️ Takes pride in keeping things looking great
✔️ Is comfortable around animals
✔️ Has a good eye for what needs doing and just gets on with it!
📅 2–3 days a week
💷 Pay dependent on experience

Experience in maintenance, farming or groundskeeping is a bonus, but attitude and reliability are more important.

Summer was busy… and somehow September has been just as busy! 🍂

After a lovely but very long 7-week summer holiday, it’s been back to school, back to routines and back to planning some exciting new updates behind the scenes ✨

September has already brought us a few new additions…

🐽 Marmalade – our newest little addition
⚽ A budding new football team 😬
🦶 And one very swollen ankle… because apparently we weren’t busy enough already! 😂

Now that autumn is officially here, thoughts are turning to the next few months and we’re getting very excited about what’s coming up.

🎄 Festive menus are on the way, cottage renovations are happening and maybe the pitter patter of more piggy feet!

Here’s to cosy days, exciting plans and hopefully fewer swollen ankles and red cards! 🍂✨
